Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEONARD CARL CHICK It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear father, grandfather, and great-grandfather Leonard Carl Chick on April 5, 2007 at St. Joseph's Residence. Leonard was born to Katherine and Charles Chick on December 9, 1923. He leaves to mourn his daughters, Debbie (Gordon) Aitkenhead, Cathy (Alex) Tye; grandchildren, Christy (Greg) McFarlane, Jennifer Aitkenhead, Dustyn Hunter (Melissa) and great-granddaughter Alexis Mariah. He was predeceased by his wife Rose, and brothers Archie (Helen) and Ken (Verna) of Riondel, BC and Clarence. He is survived by brothers Bill (Angela) of Palm Desert and John of Victoria, BC, sister-in-law Melita and numerous nieces and nephews. Len was born in the North End of Winnipeg and resided there all his life. He was a machinist by trade and worked for Bristol Aerospace for 32 years where he ultimately retired. Len enjoyed his summer home in Matlock throughout his life doing what he loved to do, spending time with family and friends. He looked forward to spending the winter months in the California sunshine with his brother Bill and wife Angela. The family wishes to express their thanks to the wonderful and compassionate caring staff at St. Joseph's Residence and to Dr. T. Babick and Dr. P. G. Mehta for their care. In keeping with Leonard's wishes a private family service has taken place on Monday, April 9, 2007 at Glen Eden Funeral Home.
